After purchasing, you will receive an email containing your license key. Open Reactive Wallpaper, click the menu bar icon, and go to Settings → License. Paste your license key into the activation field and click Activate. Your Pro features will unlock instantly. The license key is tied to your purchase and can be moved between Macs, but only one device can stay active at a time.

License emails are sent automatically within a few minutes of purchase. Please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still cannot find it after 15 minutes, email us at support@reactivewallpaper.com with the email address you used during checkout, and we will resend your license key right away.

Yes. Your Pro license works on one device at a time. Deactivate it on your current Mac, then install Reactive Wallpaper on your new Mac, open the License tab in Settings, and activate the same serial there.

Try these steps in order: 1) Make sure a wallpaper is selected in the menu bar dropdown. 2) Check that the app is not paused (the menu bar icon shows the current state). 3) If you are on battery power, wallpapers pause by default — plug in or disable the battery pause setting. 4) If an app is in fullscreen, wallpapers pause automatically — exit fullscreen to see them. 5) Restart the app from the menu bar. If the issue persists, contact us at support@reactivewallpaper.com.

To uninstall Reactive Wallpaper: 1) Quit the app by clicking the menu bar icon and selecting Quit. 2) Open Finder and go to your Applications folder. 3) Drag Reactive Wallpaper to the Trash. 4) Optionally, remove preferences by deleting ~/Library/Preferences/com.reactivewallpaper.*. Your license key remains valid and can be reused if you reinstall later.

Reactive Wallpaper requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. This includes macOS 14 Sonoma, macOS 15 Sequoia, and any future releases. We rely on system APIs introduced in macOS 14 for desktop-level window rendering and Metal shader features.

No. Reactive Wallpaper is built exclusively for Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4, and newer). It takes full advantage of the unified memory architecture and GPU capabilities unique to Apple Silicon chips. Intel-based Macs are not supported.
